GDG DevFests are large, community-run developer events happening around the globe focused on community building and learning about Google’s technologies.
IoT: Connecting objects to the Internet and create new revenue opportunities.

It is our pleasure to call for participation to 2017 GDG DevFest Sfax with focus on Internet of Things (IoT). DevFest is an annual event run by Google Developer Group chapters worldwide. It is an event for developers, by developers.
The choice of such topic is based on the growing attention paid towards the internet of things. The Internet of things is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data.
The main goal of the IoT workshop is to provide undergraduate students, M.Sc. or PhD students, academics, and engineers from industry with hands-on knowledge on IoT, most recent advances and developments. The workshop includes theoretical and practical sessions as well as a hackathon.
The workshop is organized by GDG Sfax, Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia of Sfax (ISIMS), National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), Faculty of Sciences of Sfax (FSS), and IEEE Tunisia section.
CERTIFICATE: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
